After
some handling problems in the heat race, Paul started deep in the
field. After slicing his way toward the Top 10, a wet patch of mud
near the inside guardrail caused Paul to spin from contention. He
still managed to make up 7 spots and have a respectable finish.

Paul
was slowly moving through the field when he was hit from behind
going down the backstretch. This caused the car to veer into the
wall and roll a few times before coming to a stop. Paul was briefly
unconscious after the accident, but was ok- the car was destroyed.
